This Corbières is a mixture of Syrah (30%), Grenache (40%) and Carignan Vieilles Vignes (30%), from a clay and limestone soil. The yield per hectare of 30 hl.
The three varieties are raised separately in oak barrels of 228 liters for 12 months. The final blend is made one month before bottling.
The deep ruby color offers a complex wine with aromas of red fruits and sweet spices. In the palate, Château Haut-Gléon is balanced freshness, with velvety tannins. The finish has a strong aromatic persistence.
