Don Papa rum has a deep golden color. The nose is rather light and very fruity, with flavors of vanilla fruit, honey and candied fruits that reveal themselves delicately. It evolves on exquisite bitter orange notes. The palate is greedy and harmonious, on orange marmalade and candied fruits. Don Papa 7 years old comes from the fermentation of a molasses which is then distilled in stills with columns. The rum ages seven years on the island of Negros, at the foot of Kanlaon volcano, in ancient barrels of bourbon. He was voted Best New Product of the Year 2013 at the Cocktail Spirits Awards.
