The Karmeliet Triple in 30 L cask is one of the great classics of Belgian beers. You will find notes of vanilla specific yeast used mixed with citrus flavors of hops Styrians. The texture, both dry and creamy, makes the Karmeliet Triple deliciously balanced.
According to the brewery, the recipe inspired by Antoine Bosteels would be the same since 1679. At the time, the Karmeliet was then produced in the Carmelite Abbey of Dendermonde, located less than 10 km from the brewery. Beer fermentation high and refermented in the bottle, it already had at the time the particularity of being produced from three cereals: barley, wheat and oats. It is from its ingredients that it takes its name.
