Château Lynch-Bages is a smooth red wine produced on the Pauillac appellation. It is part of the 5th Crus Classés in 1855.
It has a nose of black fruits, Zan, blueberry with a hint of vanilla. Its mouth is ample, elegant, graphite, mineral, with ample tannins and coated, a beautiful length, dense, deep, superb.
The 2016 vintage is made from a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
The vineyard benefits from a terroir made up of Garonne gravel crusts typical of the appellation. The aging of wine, in barrels, uses a proportion of 75% new wood.
