Note that the barley here is completely unpeated. This whisky was aged 100% in the finest bourbon casks for 14 years. The nose develops a velvety sweetness, with butterscotch and smoky oak revealing aromas of fresh citrus and honey musk. The palate reveals candied orange peel combined with woody and earthy flavors from superbly roasted malt and deep oaky vanilla. The finish is warm, peppery, and oaky.
