Champagne PN TX 17 from Bollinger is a blend made from 100% Pinot Noir with the main growth of Valeurières. It is associated with other villages of the Montagne deReims such as Avenay or Verzenay. The base year is 2017. Older wines from reserve magnums, the oldest of which dates from 2006, give the cuvée a real aromatic richness.
To the eye, a dress with subtle golden reflections.
On the nose, notes of dried flowers, to which are added aromas of tobacco and mocha. Licorice and dried fruits complete this evolved, discreet and complex nose.
On the palate, a very fruity and lively facet with notes of cooked apricot, peach, exotic fruits followed by flavors of acacia honey, fresh walnuts and spices. A nice salinity completes the acidity of this wine. A finish on red fruits, blackcurrant cream and surprising notes of citrus peel. A lively wine, straight, very clean and in contrast with the nose.
Its maturation time is twice as long as the rules of the Appellation.
Its dosage is very low: only 4 grams per litre.
The Pinot Noir, interpreter of the Bollinger taste is the majority in the whole range, the Pinot Noir is the very essence of Champagne Bollinger and constitutes one of its pillars. The Bollinger PN cuvée embodies the ambition to highlight the different expressions of Pinot Noir by magnifying it on several terroirs.
