Bollinger CHAMPAGNE PN VZ 16 Brut White Wine 75 cl with its case
Bollinger PN VZ16 champagne is a nugget of know-how. PN for Pinot Noir VZ for Verzenay, 2016 for the vintage. This novelty once again places Bollinger in the top of the big names in Champagne. It is a very limited edition.
This champagne reveals a dress adorned with subtle golden reflections.
The nose opens with intense fruity notes with apple, rhubarb, quince, mirabelle plum and dried fig. When aired, the bouquet then opens onto a toasted and pastry register with greedy aromas of hazelnut.
The palate is a delicious blend of exotic notes, brioche and lightly stewed. The lingering finish expresses a beautiful salinity.
PN VZ 16 from Maison Bollinger will go perfectly with scallops; a Turbot with white butter; a thin tomato tart; rosé lentillons from Champagne risotto style; a sweetbread accompanied by chestnuts or a cheese such as langres.
PN VZ champagne from the Bollinger house is a champagne for enthusiasts, a champagne for amateurs looking for the different expressions of Pinot Noir in Champagne. This PN VZ 16 edition is the second interpretation of this new collection. Each year, the PN collection will be enriched with a new cuvée, exploring the different terroirs of the House in a different way.
This is a cuvée made only from Pinot Noir, mainly from the Grand Cru village of Verzenay located on the Montagne de Reims. A touch of Pinot Noir from 3 other villages (Aÿ, Bouzy, Tarifières) enriches this blend. The PN VZ 16 is built around the 2016 harvest, again associated with reserve wines to bring great aromatic depth. The codified name of this cuvée means PN for Pinot Noir, VZ for Verzenay and 16 for 2016.
