Domaine Maire Vin Jaune ARBOIS White Wine AOC Grape Savagnin 62 cl
€66.37 L
The Vin Jaune d'Arbois from Domaine Maire is a dry white wine. Its long passage in oak barrels, more than 6 years, contributes to giving it this superb, deep and clear golden color. Its nose, of great intensity, extends its aromatic palette from cooked apple to curry through saffron and walnut. On the palate the attack is lively, powerful and well done. It confirms the aromas of the nose by offering an extraordinary palette from fresh nuts to curry, including green apple, dried fruits and saffron. A grandiose finale. A bright future for this great wine. 100% Savagnin, the only grape variety authorized for yellow wine. Typically from the Jura, Savagnin flourishes on the gray marls of the Jura and matures slowly. Demanding and patient, it is the king grape variety of yellow wines. This dry and powerful wine works wonders over time, but it can be enjoyed at any time, from aperitif to dessert: Comté, walnuts, gougères, mushroom crust, snails and crayfish or even poultry, white meats and fish. Lobster and white truffle are also ideal companions for high-end meals. Also superb for making cream sauce. Ready to drink as soon as it is bottled, this exceptional wine can be kept for several generations. Keeps very well once the bottle has been opened.
