Duvel is a fruity Belgian beer whose reputation is second to none.
Duvel Beer has a beautiful golden shine and a beautiful compact foam, dense and very persistent with fruity and flowery aromas where the various ingredients that compose it assert themselves without hindrance.
You will find this great olfactory balance in the mouth, with fruity flavors of hops and yeast that are supported by a slight malty roundness. The spicy touches of the yeast raise the whole, accompanied by a frank and pronounced bitterness. The whole appears extremely fruity though slightly sweet and the harmony of flavors makes you forget the presence of alcohol which nevertheless amounts to 8.5 °.
Formerly it was sold under the name of Victory Ale, this beer which will be nicknamed "the Bottled Devil" will end up wearing this nickname with pride since the word "Duvel" means "devil" in Flemish patois.
It is produced since 1918 by the Belgian Brewery Moortgat, it is a beautiful success very well balanced.
