She is a beautiful blonde with a troubled dress that is brewed on a wheat base. This characteristic unusual in the region makes the Angelus an atypical beer with a very fruity nose that gives the nostrils light scents of honey and peach.
Very pleasant to the eye and to the nose, the Angelus has a relative acidity on the palate that is accompanied by rounder flavors of white-fleshed fruits, citrus fruits and honey. It is therefore recommended as an aperitif but also as an accompaniment to fish.
Awarded for the fifth year in a row at the famous Agricultural Show of the 2011 Agricultural Show, the blonde Angelus collects medals and successes. After two gold medals (2007 and 2009), and two silver medals (2008 and 2010), this craft beer returns to its native Nord-Pas-de-Calais with a new bronze medal for this 2011 edition! A new consecration for the Brasserie Lepers and a beer to discover or find for lovers of quality beer!
This lager is produced by the Lepers family at Lepers Brewery in La Chapelle d'Armentières, near Lille.
It enriches the brewing heritage of this region where diversity rhymes with quality. The malts and hops used here are very discreet but this beer will delight the delicate palates who prefer a real aromatic richness to a too pronounced bitterness.
