The Tripel Karmeliet beer is one of the great classics of Belgian beers. According to the brewery, this beer would be brewed according to a 17th century recipe from the former Carmes Cloister of Dendermonde. It is a beer of high fermentation then refermented in bottle, it already had at the time the peculiarity to be produced from three cereals: the barley, the wheat and the oats. It is from these ingredients that it takes its name.
