Jägermeister liqueur, which means master hunter in German, is a liqueur made from medicinal plants with a strength of 35°. It was invented in 1934 by Curst Mast. The 56 herbs that make up its composition are kept secret. This liqueur is made in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony. It has been on the market since 1935. The Jägermeister logo represents a deer's head surmounted by a shiny cross between its antlers. This cross is a reference to Saint Hubert, the Patron of hunters. In its rock-solid bottle, a full-bodied liqueur resulting from the maceration of 56 ingredients aged for one year in oak barrels. This medicinal plant-based liqueur is of German origin. Composition: herbs, flowers, roots, fruits and spices.
