Gabriel Meffre Laurus COTE ROTIE Red wine AOC 75 cl
The Côte Rotie has a dark ruby color of great density, typical of the great wines of Syrah.
On the nose, you will find jammy notes of raspberry and violet and sweet spices of cinnamon and nutmeg.
In the mouth, the structure is confirmed with tannins very present and unctuous. It has a beautiful aromatic persistence.
It is aged 18 months in oak barrels Laurus 275 liters, hence its small name.
The Côte Rôtie vineyard is one of the oldest in France since the Romans were the first to develop it. In the Middle Ages, it is said that the Lord of the places shared his property between his two daughters, one brown, the other blonde, whence the names remained in the wine: Côte Brune and Côte Blonde.
