Beer Colomba is a white beer produced in Corsica by the Brasserie Pietra. This beer has a blonde robe with abundant mousse that releases fruity and slightly tangy scents, spicy scents and notes reminding the presence of wheat. On the palate, there are fruity flavors with an acidulous appearance reminiscent of lemon. These are accompanied by strong herbaceous and spicy flavors recalling the presence of the herbs of the maquis. The presence of wheat (soft wheat) gives this beer a creamy body but does not mask a slight acidity. A slight bitterness of hops accompanies the end of tasting.
Brewed on a malt base of barley and wheat, this beer is also flavored with hops and a mixture of herbs of the Corsican maquis composed of juniper of myrtle and arbutus.
