This Côtes du Rhône Saint Vincent from Maison Gabriel Meffre is perfect as an aperitif. It will also seduce you with fish in sauce or white meats or as an accompaniment to red mullet with tapenade on toast of toast, a sausage rougail or even a "fish & chips". Serve chilled between 10 ° and 12 ° C. This white Côtes du Rhône has a pale color with green reflections, it offers an intense and elegant nose marked by aromas of white flowers (syringa) and apricot. A nice balance on the palate ending with a particularly fruity finish. It is made from the main white grape varieties of its terroir, Grenache, Roussanne, Clairette and Viognier. This wine is Vegan. The selected plots come from two profiles of selected terroirs in eastern Gard and Vaucluse. First, the Grenache and Viognier grape varieties come from the Gard sector on clay and sand and secondly the Roussanne and Clairette grape varieties are harvested on limestone soils on the Vaucluse side. Born in the 3rd century AD in Spain, Saint Vincent is considered the patron saint of winegrowers. Whatever the initial reason for this choice, "Vincent" meaning "who triumphs" in Latin, the choice of this name for our cuvée was obvious !
