Peach-flavored Mel Bush peach beer has the distinction of having a much higher alcohol content than most regular fruit beers.
It has 8.5% alcohol and is closer to triple beers than fruity lambic. This is due in particular to the fermentation style used here, namely the high fermentation, which allows to reach much larger volumes of alcohol than with the spontaneous fermentation, used to brew the lambic beers whose Krieks are parties.
Mel'Bush Peach is a limpid beer with an amber-colored orange robe that is covered with a good layer of foam in the glass.
You will find powerful aromas of peaches that completely mask the presence of hops and especially alcohol.
In the mouth, you find the influences of malt, always dominated by the fruity and honey flavors of peach. A slight bitterness is noticeable on the finish.
