The Févolade is the ancestor of cassoulet, because before the Middle Ages, only beans were used. Indeed, the ingot bean originates from Mexico and only arrived in France after the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. This dish is cooked according to an ancestral recipe, this févolade is prepared for your pleasure with rigorously selected ingredients: small tender beans, "real" Toulouse sausages, tasty duck muff, and a sauce of which we keep of course the secret ...
The Févolade can be eaten after being reheated in a saucepan over low heat 10 min or in the microwave 5 min. However, to fully appreciate this specialty, we suggest you pour the févolade in a baking dish, and brown for about 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
You will savor this févolade accompanied by a red wine from Occitania (Fitou, Corbières, Malepère, Gaillac, Cahors, Minervois ...). Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, please consume in moderation.
