Sociando-Mallet wine is a great red wine from Haut-Médoc. This 2019 is a sunny vintage that rivals in aromatic power, density and volume on the palate, the balance is indisputable. Its color is a very intense garnet color. The nose is very expressive with aromas of jammy black and red fruits accompanied by spicier notes of pepper, mocha and caramel. It is undoubtedly a Fruity wine. The palate, in the first years of tasting, is full-bodied, marked by a touch of wood and notes of sweet spices. After a few years of aging, the tannins melt. You will enjoy it on a charcuterie platter, a leg of lamb, grilled red meats, roast guinea fowl, or even with candied vegetables with sweet spices, and slightly dry hard mountain cheeses. And for dessert, why not a chocolate fondant. It is aged for 12 months in barrels, 90% of which are new. Merlot (55%), cabernet sauvignon (43%), cabernet franc (2%).
